Monday:
Spanish Level: Some days I’m good … some days I’m bad. Today at Conversa the man who evaluates us for classes put me in Intermediate. I’m in a class by myself here. The three other new students are in the beginner class.
This morning Maurico drove me to school. My school is about 3-4 miles from where he works downtown but 15 minutes by car. The name of my new school is Centro Linguistico Conversa. For mom: phone to school is 1-888-669-1664; address: P.O. Box 17-1007 Centro Colon, San Jose, Costa Rica. www.conversa.net I will be here for the next two weeks for sure but probably for 4 weeks total. The school was started by a man heavily involved in the Peace Corps and is noted as being a very good school in San Jose.
After school I met my new family in San Jose. Ana Castro and her 3 sons (Miguel, Siegfried and Federico) live in Rohrmoser, Costa Rica; phone 290-7789. At this time she is a single mom, not sure about the dad?? I didn’t ask. Miguel is in high school, Siegfried is about 28 and doesn’t have a job right now, and Federico is about 25 and works for Hewitt Packard. They talk very fast. I miss my Quepos family but its good to have moved because they use different phrases and questions and I have already learned some new Spanish from them. They are very nice. Siegfried likes to talk a lot and Miguel knows a lot of English so when I get stuck on a word between the two of them they help me out a lot. My room is great, it’s big with a desk, TV and a queen size bed and the bathroom has hot water in the shower!!!!!!!!!! They have a cat and a dog too.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Glad you're in a happy place for your birthday. Don't get attached to the pets, Rusty misses you, and has lost weight running around looking for you.
